Vegius is a vegan travel agent. You create a personal travel agent, tell it where you are going and what you care about, and it builds a full trip plan that holds your vegan and ethical rules from the first day to the last. Half of every paid plan goes to a vegan animal sanctuary.

To a vegan animal sanctuary. You can choose which partner sanctuary receives your donation. The donation is reported to OM Guarantee, an independent impact verification platform, at the moment your payment goes through, so it is tied to your specific transaction rather than folded into a vague annual total.

No. Vegius plans your trip and gives you booking links to take wherever you want to book. It does not take payment for travel and does not act as a booking agent.

A general AI will draft you an itinerary and then recommend a steakhouse on day four, because nothing enforces your rules across the whole trip. Vegius holds your constraints all the way through, validates that recommended places are real and in the right city, remembers your preferences for next time, and sends half your money to a sanctuary.

HappyCow is a directory you search. Vegius is an agent that plans. It uses vegan-identified sources, builds a day-by-day itinerary around how you travel, and gives half of every paid plan to a sanctuary. Plenty of vegans use both, and we link out rather than compete.

The agent enforces your exclusions across the entire itinerary and corrects itself if something slips through. Place results are filtered against a vegan whitelist. For the moments when you are standing in a shop holding a label you cannot read, there is an ingredient scanner built in.

We only draw from sources that identify as vegan or vegan-friendly, and we flag the difference. Fully vegan venues are marked as such; vegan-friendly ones are labelled so you know to check the menu. We never guess. If we're not sure, we say so or leave it out.

Yes. Plans work for any destination. The app itself is English only for now; more languages are on the roadmap.

It's a real concern and we don't wave it away. Data centres use electricity and, for cooling, water. A trip plan on Vegius is a handful of short AI requests, small in absolute terms but not zero, and we treat it that way: we cap free plans, we don't run AI on anything a simple search could do, and we're moving to smaller, more efficient models as they become reliable. For scale, the water footprint of one animal-based meal is measured in hundreds of litres; a full Vegius plan is measured in millilitres. If a plan helps one trip stay vegan, the animals and the water both come out ahead. We'll publish our per-plan footprint estimate once we have a full quarter of usage data to base it on.
