The space

Two separate RVs available.

The first is a 20 ft vintage RV with one queen bed and a pull out comfortable queen bed. All kitchen gear and a stove and oven and fridge. Bright and sunny.

The second RV is 18 ft and has queen bed, bunk beds and kitchen table can be made into an extra bed. No oven in this one, but it has fridge and stove. All kitchen gear provided in this one also.

No air conditioning in either of the RVs because they run on solar panels (totally off grid) and we are at 7500 feet and nights are cool and days are perfect. Neither RV has a heater, but they do have cozy quilts. There is no septic or dump station, so toilets in both RVs are not used. There is a clean, modern, un-smelly pooptent. Each has an outdoor shower (hot and cold water).

Cell reception with most carriers. Wi-Fi available at the shared pavilion. Also at pavilion: vegan gas grill, picnic tables, electricity, lights, exercise equipment.

Two older mountain bikes available for guests.

Things to know

Both trailers are all vegan kitchens. No animal products. Everything you need should be there. Medium size refrigerators and good freezer with separate door. Counters and tables with plenty of room for food prep. Gas stoves and the vintage kitchen also has a gas oven.

The last 4 miles are unpaved. We drive it with our 2WD Prius with no problems.

For strong Wi-Fi and phone service, the pavilion is the perfect shared space.

Neighborhood

The location will feel incredibly remote and totally quiet and peaceful, despite being only 30 minutes from Santa Fe. Hiking trails for miles and miles. No light pollution (bright stars and planets at night). Hummingbirds, coyotes, foxes, variety of birds, and all that the national forest has to offer. Well-behaved, non-aggressive dogs welcome. We have four on-site dogs who are very used to other dogs.
