Relax, Renew and Rejuvenate at Ye Olde Manor House Bed and Breakfast

Ye Olde Manor House is a boutique bed and breakfast that has eight guest rooms with private baths and an indoor heated swimming pool. Located on three landscaped acres far from the maddening crowd…but not too far…it is a perfect spot for weddings, romantic getaways, reunions, retreats, and gatherings of all kinds. Our goal is to help guests have an enjoyable stay where they can relax, renew, and rejuvenate. Guests can reserve individual or multiple rooms, or the entire Manor House. Our décor combines antiques with classic new pieces designed for comfort and elegance. We prepare a different gourmet breakfast daily and include among our offerings, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, whole food plant based, and other dietary needs as requested. We are located across the road from a 900-acre lake, and near several golf courses, hiking, biking and ski trails, restaurants, outdoor music venues, and a semi-private beach.

House rules

Children must be supervised by an adult as we have several water features on the property.

The space

Our eight guest rooms range in size from the cozy oak room to the two room Manor Suite. Seven guest rooms are located on the second floor, the eight is located on the first floor. We provide a complementary bottle of water and juice for guests as well as access to a Keurig coffee machine and non-dairy creamer. Our indoor heated pool is surrounded by lush plants and the pool room flanked on the outside on the north with seating on a patio facing a fish pond and on the south with café-style seating for 20 under colorful umbrellas. There are numerous spaces indoors in our 7000 square foot Manor House and outdoors on our three landscaped acres for guests to gather or to seek quiet space alone.

Neighborhood

Beyond our property, the surrounding communities provide many options for recreation. The adage that big things come in small packages is certainly true in the case of our town, Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Known as the Christmas card town after being featured on several Hallmark cards, Elkhorn is the county seat for Walworth County. As such it hosts several events including antique fairs, county fairs, classic car shows, and food festivals, to name just a few. There are nine and eighteen hole golf courses, hiking, biking, and ski trails, music venues, restaurants, wineries, orchards, breweries, antique shops, and lakes for water skiing, jet skiing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, and boating within a two to ten minute drive of Ye Olde Manor House.
