Peaceful studio room in the Algarve mountains

Smoking is fine outside the room using an ashtray. In Summer, there are many wildfires in Portugal, please put out cigarettes responsibly.

The space

Spacious studio room with kitchenette and private ensuite, situated in the Algarve mountains near Monchique. It would suit a single person or couple looking for a place to stay in nature away from the hustle and bustle but still within driving distance to towns and the west and south coasts.

The room can be set up as a double or two singles. We have a large garden with a vegetable garden and fruit trees (produce is sometimes available for guests). There is a terrace overlooking the garden with a hammock and outdoor furniture where you can relax. We also have a hot tub, perfect for cooler nights and with minimal light pollution on a clear night, the sky is full of stars! You can go on walks from the property but a vehicle is required to stay here. 5 minutes drive to the nearest village with a swimming pool, small shop and cafe. 10-minute drive to Monchique with all amenities.

Neighborhood

The Algarve is becoming more and more vegan-friendly with most places offering a vegan option, and a growing number of vegetarian and vegan cafes and restaurants opening up. Our local area is perfect for outdoor activities such as hiking and biking and we have 2 SUP boards available for hire with a lake nearby. The South and West coast are within a 45-minute drive where you can relax on the beaches, or do a number of activities such as surfing, coasteering, SUP, boat trips, sky diving and more.
