Mid-century Motel on the edge of wilderness.
This is a small mid-century Motel lovingly restored by the family that owns and operates it. Our regulars affectionately call it “The Warby”. It is located in Warburton, Yarra Valley - a wilderness wonderland only 90 minutes from Melbourne CBD and the airport - super vegan friendly (plenty to eat and drink).
Only minutes walk from the pristine upper reaches of the Yarra River, town shops and restaurants and wilderness based tourism locations within minutes walk, ride or drive in every direction. Its great hiking and bike riding country too!
Our environmental, animal and human welfare beliefs mean we strive to achieve an inclusive, welcoming and kind experience - The Warby is owned by vegans and is a cruelty free Motel (no animal furnishings, textiles or testing), and we wholeheartedly welcome our LGBTIQA+ and minority friends. You are welcome here like it’s your home.
House rules
We have 12 rooms in total so guests need to be mindful of others. There are great outdoor spaces to enjoy including the firepit and other seating areas but we ask that guests return to their rooms quietly late at night.
The rooms and areas near the building are strictly non-smoking.
Occupancy is strictly limited to the maximums allowed in each room.
The property is not self-contained so full meal prep is not possible - we do have kettles, microwaves, toasters plus cutlery and crockery.
