Big suite in boho villa w/ Pool and opt breakfast

Our one-of-a-kind house is situated on the edge of boho-neighbourhood Santa Teresa, surrounded by tropical forest and yet only 15 minutes away from all the mayor attractions and pois of Rio de Janeiro. The pool and sun deck are available all day and year round and invite you to relax and recharge your batteries. We offer plant-based breakfast and cooking classes which you can book during your stay as well as other classes and retreats.

The space

Our 1937 artistic villa combines Mediterranean lifestyle and tropical luxury. Surrounded by lush tropical forest you can relax at the pool or enjoy luxury vegan food in our winter garden, prepared by Juju. Or maybe you even want to participate in one of our own experiences, like YogaBrunch, Dinner Parties or Cooking Experiences?!

The room and bathroom are private. You have access to the pool area with it's sun terrace and beautiful views surrounded by tropical forest.

If you refrain from using animal products, you may use our kitchen (as a courtesy and on request of long term guests. It is not part of what you're renting. I might be doing a cooking class or other food related activities, during which you cannot use the kitchen).

Me and my husband live here and are always available for our guests.

We offer full pension for R$500 per week for long term guests. in that case we really live together like a family, eating together and getting to know each other better.

We are vegans and kindly ask our guests not to cook meat, poultry or fish on our premises. We offer optional

✓ brunch for one R$80 or R$120 for two
✓ full pension for one whole day for R$150 p.p. and
✓ full pension for R$700 per week for long term guests.

✓ the use of the washing machine is R$20 per load (8kg)

We live with three little energetic wiener dogs, so please only book of you like animals. They won't come into your room if you don't want them, of course.

Neighborhood

Our villa is a real jewel, with an eclectic style and a lot of very comfortable amenities that you can't find everywhere in Brazil. The pool and Aircon makes it perfect for visiting Rio during summers. The air up here is always a bit fresher than down in town. If you're interested in wildlife you are at the right place. We often get visits by toucans, different species of monkeys, falk and parrots, as well as other wildlife from the jungle. We grow our own organic produce and live a sustainable, vegan lifestyle and are happy to share this with our guests.

We live surrounded by nature on the edge of Tijuca national park with incredible views over the city. This is a perfect place to relax and live a happy healthy life, while still being in the middle of town. We have the best fresh air and climate in Rio. Our water comes directly from the springs in the mountains. You can walk out the door and into the woods. We're also situated in a very popular cycling route. Getting around from here is really easy. Thanks to Uber you reach every part of town in 15 to 20 minutes.

Uber's best and we have some drivers whom we can organize your transition with. If you come by car that's great, we have a lot of parking space for you. Taxis work well and if you want to there is public transportation, too.
