La Colline aux Licornes is a vegan Bed & Breakfast located amongst the rolling hills of the Charente Limousine, France. It is the perfect spot to enjoy a quiet time, hike, bike, relax and recharge. We also host a shop and a mini-brocante (Des Trésors dans L'ArbraChats) 100% benefiting the cats rescued by the association L'ArbraChats. We are less than 2h30 from Paris by TGV.

The space

We offer a spacious ground floor bedroom (29m2) with view on the valley and a private bathroom (located on the floor above). It is equipped with: two 90x200cm beds that can be joined together for a 180x200cm bed, a sitting area and a desk.

A second bedroom can be booked upstairs. It is pictured, but not yet repainted.

The house is comfortable, bright and quiet. You can enjoy a large garden on a one hectare property. We try to minimize our carbon footprint and take care of the living through composting, mindful mowing, natural cleaning products, responsible use of water, and, as much as possible, local and organic products.

Neighborhood

Less than 20 minutes from us: Lakes of Hte Charente; Natural Park of Périgord-Limousin)International Golf of la Prèze; gastronomic restaurant "Moulin de la Tardoire" (4km, * Michelin), La Rochefoucauld castle and a charming town with a cultural café, a beer bar and more, and 35/45mn away, 35/45mn, Angoulême and Brantôme, the Venice of the Perigord.  A car is essential as we are in the middle of the countryside.
